This splendid high quality bean is grown high in the mountains of northern Nicaragua between Jinotega and Matagalpa. The 5000 ft. altitude provides a cool climate and longer growing season resulting in a dense bean full of flavor. Picked only when they are fully ripe and aged to perfection, then slow roasted to produce an offering with restrained acidity, a rounded full body and a variety of fruit toned nuances that bursts with flavor and rolls smoothly off your palate. “Altisimo” Means “The Highest”.
